@Moufy617 has been making a little noise. I’ll be honest and say I don’t know anything about him and I tried to hate on this track. I really did. I mean “Miss Newton”? It just sounds horribly corny. But this song is anything but. Great track.

@Slainesworld thru me for a loop with this song and the title of it. I was expecting some gorey shit….then the 2nd verse came in. Twisted shit. Seriously, I feel dirty now.

@ClipST drops one of the best Lawtown anthems in years (and there have been tons of those, the Law is home to plenty of talented emcees). A guest spot by Reks never hurts either.

Chilla Jones vs Interstate Flamez [battle video]
Crazy how far advanced battling has gone in a decade. I remember watching the Superbowl battles years ago when cats like Alias, Easy Money & Shuman were destroying people.
I still hold a place for freestyles but these writtens are sick regardless. It’s kinda shocking how well Chilla is responding when you know cats are researching him now. I remember Alias stepping away from battling for awhile when everyone in New England was looking him up after he went on that tear where he won every major battle in New England.
Shizzie – I Said No [video]
@iamshizzie is young artist out of Boston I just recently learned about. This track is catchy as hell.
Big Shug – Think Twice ft. Avirex, M-Dot, Singapore Kane, & Krumbsnatcha
M-Dot is legit everywhere. This track is intersting since Krumb and Shug haven’t been on a track together in ages. Krumb was one of the nicest to come out of the Boston area but has been real quiet the past few years. Wonder what he got cooking up.
Major Ladies of Boston – Murder She Wrote [mixtape]
Like I stated previously, it takes a lot to get me impressed by a female emcee. But the M.L.B.? Back when DJ On & On was running the Launchpad Cypher (LaunchPad is a Boston radio show and DJ On & On would pit 4 random local emcees together for a cypher), these women had the best cypher by far. Off the strength of that I’m checking it.
