St. Da Squad ft. Gwop Gang – Throw Your 3′s

This track is significant for a few reasons. First, it features 2 of MA’s most popular crews finally link up on a track. Two, one crew comes from Lawrence/Haverhill and the other from Boston. People outside of the MA Hiphop circle may not understand why that’s important but it’s just not a collabo that happens a lot. And 3….it features Badnewz. Although Gwop Gang released a project in the summer of 09 Badnewz has been extremely quiet other than those tracks especially when compared to his group mates Juste and BR who have been doing the Hood Report every Sunday on JAMN 94.5. I know Newz has been laying low purposely and that he has been writing so hopefully we’ll hear more soon.
